ABOUT LAUNCH MUSIC CONFERENCE

Located inside the spacious Freedom Hall at the Lancaster County Convention Center and at venues around downtown Lancaster – LAUNCH Music Conference 2010 will offer something for everyone when it returns to Downtown Lancaster this April!

LAUNCH IS EDUCATION:
With a slew of music industry professionals descending on Lancaster City to speak, mentor, and provide advice to upcoming and established musical acts, LAUNCH is the best place to be for anyone looking to further his or her musical career, learn more about working in other aspects of the music industry, and network and establish ties with artists and professionals from all over the country!

LAUNCH IS ENTERTAINMENT:
Over the course of the weekend, more than 150 music acts will perform throughout downtown Lancaster. Ranging from developing to established artists from all over North America, the music will span every genre of music – from Jazz to Rock to Americana to Pop to Punk and everything between! No matter what one’s music tastes are, there’s something for everyone at LAUNCH!

In its first year, the inaugural LAUNCH Music Conference - held in historic Downtown Lancaster, PA - shattered expectations and destroyed misconceptions about what start-up music conferences can be.

A slew of heavyweight industry professionals attended/spoke at the Conference, doling out expertise and advice to developing artists. With national headlining acts performing alongside up-and-comers, LAUNCH provided a wealth of networking and career building opportunities to developing artists as well as a diverse range of entertainment for attendees that spanned ALL genres of music!

The 'Mission,' if you will, of LAUNCH is so simple it can be found in the acronym of LAUNCH itself - “Logical Advice & UNique Career Help”

LAUNCH MISSION STATEMENT:
This conference will provide much needed guidance & expertise to musicians, both national and regional, as well as any and all parties interested in pursuing a career in, or learning more about, the music industry. LAUNCH will expose artists, both national and regional, from a wide variety of backgrounds and genres, to the fantastic music community which has prospered in Downtown Lancaster, PA for decades.
